Product Overview

The K32-Pro by Kulp Lights is the mid-line version of the K32v2 family. This second revision is a cape for the PocketBeagle v2 and is designed to drive WS281x LED pixels. It has 32 × local ports that can each drive up to 800 pixels at 40 fps or up to 1,200 pixels at 20 fps. Utilizing the eight RJ45 differential ports, you can output an additional 32 - 192* strings via differential receivers. There are an additional two RJ45 RS485 outputs for DMX, PixelNet, Renard, or LOR.

As with any of the controllers in the K32v2 family, the K32-Pro has a Real Time Clock (RTC) to maintain time, a temperature sensor, input voltage sensors, an OLED display with navigation push buttons, and a Gigabit Ethernet port (wired via USB2 so roughly 300Mb/s speed). Special to the K32-Max and K32-Pro, there are three powered USB ports, onboard sound, and a socket for an optional FM transmitter (sold separately).

Each controller in the K32v2 family requires a PocketBeagle v2. The K32v2 family will not work with a first generation PocketBeagle

*Anything past the first 32 ports requires a smart receiver capable of daisy chaining.
